    Atgriešanās/The Return (2020).

Painted, solid wooden sculpture in natural habitat.

Collaboration with visual artist Kate Krolle at the processual, open-air art event Savvaļa / Savage.

Mēs nolēmām doties atpakaļ. Neviens no mums vairs neatcerējās virzienu, ne arī to kā izskatās vieta, ko meklējam. Tāpat arī nebija skaidrs vai mūsu atgriešanās vispār ir iespējama.

  2. Kinetic live sound sculpture @ Izskatās, ka tu mirsi(Looks like you are going to die)

    Dirty Deal Teatro 2020

Kinetic live-sound sculptural scenography for the performance Izskatās, ka tu mirsi (Looks like you are going to die) at Dirty Deal Teatro in Riga. The performers unbox an installation and reconstruct a live sound sculpture detail by detail. With multiple sources creating fully analogue sounds, the installation slowly grows into a sort of pulsating body. The installation exists in a vague life form until it witnesses its own death, and the whole installation collapses on the ground.

  3. DRONESREELSANDDRONES

Live video stream shows closeup of transparent reel in slow ascending motion.

In an attempt to capture a harmonic loop, . in this live sound installation a loop of tape slowly rubs against the strings to create an infinite loop of harmonic drone sounds.

Created as an open air installation, the tape loop is sensitive to the environment like the motion of the wind. It can be converted into rhythmic insertions, which adds the element of coincidence to the static nature of the loop and the sounds it produces.
